SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to traumatology and orthopaedics and is applicable to recover integrity and functionality of an individual's heel bone. The method involves assembling an apparatus for the recovery of integrity and functionality of an individual's heel bone in accordance with a lateral X-ray image of patient's foot and lower leg. The apparatus for the recovery of integrity and functionality of an individual's heel bone is applied to fix heel bone fragments to a leg, and using the apparatus for the recovery of integrity and functionality of an individual's heel bone as a template is followed by marking threaded nail holes in a distal epiphyseal cartilage of a shin bone, in a middle one-third of the shin bone, in a calcaneal tuberosity and in a base of a metatarsal bone from the medial side. The marking is followed to form the openings in the bone, and taking into account talipes varus or talipes valgus, the threaded nails are inserted into the holes, fixed with nuts; the apparatus for the recovery of integrity and functionality of the individual's heel bone is mounted on the nails. Distal and proximal cuffs are rotated to set the heel bone fragments in the sagittal plane. The apparatus for the recovery of integrity and functionality of the individual's heel bone comprises two beams, a greater distal cuff, a proximal cuff, four threaded nails, four pivots; both beams and the proximal cuff are pivotally connected to the screw and the nut; the beam and the greater distal cuff are pivotally connected to the threaded nail; there is a threaded nail hole at the end of the second beam.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables eliminating displacement of the fragments forming a cartilage surface, providing immobility of the fragment for the purpose of conducting a functional treatment.
