FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to coalescing fine fluid drops and its separation from hydrocarbon gas, for example, natural or associated gas, and may be used in gas-and-oil industry, etc. Proposed method comprises feeding gas-fluid turbulent flow along bulky body with coalescing surface, wetting said surface with fine drops, coalescing said drops on said surface, forcing said flow between rows of isolated vertical porous elements with developed surface, feeding fine drops on every porous element separately on every porous element by forces caused by pressure difference between surfaces of every porous element, creating increased pressure by feeding discrete flows of aforesaid mix at one surface of said porous element and decreased pressure at its other surface by bleeding discrete flows to make separated bleed of gas and fluid.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
