FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for bonding components made from dissimilar metals, in particular, in making turbine rotor by welding. Two-alloy element 36 is used arranged between first component 28 and second component 32. Said two-alloy component 36 comprises first material and second material other that said first one, and transition region 48 formed there between. At least, one section of said region 48 comprises combination of first and second materials and, at least, section of said region 48 comprises combination of microstructures of said first and second materials. Localised region of first component material 28 is alloyed with first material to make first weld joint 52 without, in fact, mixing first material with second material. Localised region of second component material 28 is alloyed with second material to make second weld joint 56 without, in fact, mixing second material with first component to bond first component 52 with second component 32.

EFFECT: homogeneous chemical and metallurgical transition region between dissimilar metals.
