FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to making articles from polymer composite based on continuous organic or inorganic fibers and thermoset matrix by surface infusion. Proposed method comprises placing the workpiece in working chamber defined by breathable barrier and filtration layers. Then, vacuum channel is used to create equal rarefaction in first and second working chambers to allow feeding the binder at barrier layer accumulation component for accumulation and distribution of said binder in said accumulation component at temperature T1. Then, temperature is increased to T2 whereat barrier component becomes permeable for binder to allow surface-orthogonal ingress of binder from barrier layer accumulation component into fibrous workpiece and injection of said binder into workpiece at its continuous feed to said component from binder feed channel. Note here that gaseous inclusions are continuously pumped from working chamber through filtration layer into vacuum channel. Heating is continued to remove surplus binder at T2 to T3 by creating reversing channel. Then, heating is continued to T4 of hardening the workpiece impregnated with binder to remove excess binder and gaseous inclusions through filtration and barrier layers. Proposed device comprises first chamber defined by fixtures and filtration layer secured thereat by sealing bundles, working chamber and second chamber defined by barrier layer and tight film of vacuum bag. Besides, it comprises vacuum channel, distribution grate communicating said first and second chambers, filler vessel with binder feed channel, and reversing channel.

EFFECT: porosity reduced to minimum, impregnation with binder, lower labor input.
