FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of hybrid metal-composite structures, in particular to a method for manufacturing metal-composite lighting poles. Method that makes it possible to obtain a high-quality solid metal-composite light pole with high rigidity, high strength characteristics and a long service life with minimal material costs has been developed. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that a metal-composite lighting pole comprises an outer skin and reinforcing steel rods. Pole is made in the form of a hollow construction with a narrowing to the top, the skin of which is made in the form of a polyhedral fiberglass shell. Steel reinforcing rods are attached to the shell edges on the inside, each rod is wrapped with its own fiberglass shell. Method for manufacturing a metal-composite lighting pole reinforced with metal rods includes forming a preform on a drift pin, in a matrix provided with electric heaters, binder feed channels and drainage channels by injection impregnation. Vacuum drying of the preform is carried out for 20–30 minutes with a vacuum level of -0.95 bar, then simultaneously with the vacuum injection molding, the workpiece is thermocompressively molded. Vacuum-injection impregnation is carried out for 5–10 minutes, increasing the pressure from 1.5 bar to 2.5–3 bar and raising the temperature at a rate of 1.5–2 °C/min up to 75 °C, maintain the time of gelling of the binder for 25–30 minutes. After that, the temperature is raised at a rate of 1.5–2°C/min up to 125 °C and maintained for 30 minutes. Then harness is cooled to a temperature of no more than 35–40 °C.
EFFECT: increased strength of the metal-composite lighting pole of the optimum pole structure and the method of its production.
