FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method involves the stages, at which plate stock (11) of metallic material is provided, which has front surface (14), opposite rear surface (16) and four side end faces, in plate stock (11) there formed is at least one cooling channel (30) by drilling in it of at least one blind hole (40) that is made from the first end face (22) in the direction to the second opposite end face (24). Plate stock (11) is deformed so that its first end area (46) is such that it is at least partially bent in the direction to rear surface (16) of plate stock and excess material is removed by machining from front and rear surfaces (14, 16) of plate stock (11) for obtaining cooling plate (10) having the main panel-shaped part (12), on the rear surface (16) of which a hole for inlet of cooling channel (30) is located.
EFFECT: increasing service life of the cooling plate.
