SUBSTANCE: method of making a cathode plate from manganese dioxide involves applying a multilayer cathode coating on an oxidised slug and involves repeated steps of saturating the anode with manganese nitrate solution, followed by pyrolytic decomposition of the manganese nitrate to manganese dioxide at high temperatures and moulding after every few deposited layers, wherein during saturation, air is removed from the anode pores by pre-evacuation and/or slow immersion of the anode into the saturating solution, followed by ultrasonic treatment of the saturated anode.
EFFECT: making a cathode plate of good quality from fewer layers of manganese dioxide and enables to obtain a solid-electrolyte capacitor with improved electrical properties while cutting the process cycle and reducing material consumption.
