FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: analogue signal is received, digitised, and its spectral representation is generated. Besides, when generating the spectral representation, the digitised signal is previously divided into equal fragments, on which Fourier transformation is carried out independently from each other. And parameters of spectral representation are maximum values of Fourier transformation components of each fragment. The decision on the fact of signal detection is made, if parameters of the spectral representation of at least one fragment exceed the threshold value of noise level, which is calculated separately for each fragment and is selected as equal to three values of averaged sum of spectral components of the fragment.
EFFECT: expansion of the field of application for detection of short-term single signals under conditions of apriori uncertainty on time of their emission in additive noise of high selectivity.
