FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: methods and devices are proposed for token handover executed with assistance by a base station between WiMAX networks (global compatibility of wideband wireless access in microwave range) and CDMA EVDO (evolution of CDMA (code division multiple access), optimised for data) or lxRTT (radio transfer technology 1x or simply 1x) during the regular mode of operation of a double-mode mobile station (MS). Attributable to the fact that the base station (BS), using one radio access technology (RAT), performs broadcasting transfer of information about the BS in a neighbouring cell, where a different RAT is used.
EFFECT: improved continuity of service during token handover.
