FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to system exploiting solar energy along with microwaves and plasma for producing, mainly, carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrogen (H2) from carbon compounds (biomass, domestic wastes, effluents, fossil coal). At first step, carbon compounds are subjected to drying and pyrolysis to obtain dry charcoal or coal and mix of superheated gases bearing, mainly, CO2, steam, pitch and noncondensable volatile matters. At second step, pyrolysis products are used to produce synthetic gas containing, mainly, mix of carbon monoxide and hydrogen to be used at Fischer-Tropsh synthesis plants. Then, synthesis products are separated at distillation column after heating in solar ovens or combined solar-microwave ovens. Electric power required for plasma production is generated by solar cells, windmills, electric generators operating on hydrocarbon gas not processed after distillation, and systems of power reuse at all stages of proposed process.
EFFECT: production of fluid fuel, ethers and alcohols.
