SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to antiskid stud design. Antiskid stud comprises retainer 12 fitted in sealing hole of tire running surface 10 to make a seat 14 for stud 16 extending from said running surface 10. Said retainer 12 consists, at least, partially, of magnesium or magnesium alloy. Invention covers also the method of making said stud.

EFFECT: partial influence of studded tire on road surface.
