FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly, to method of damage control in case of hull breach. Proposed vessel comprises hull to house service equipment including engine unit with propulsor. Said hull comprises structural inner shell and outer skin to make inner space communicated with outer medium and divided by bulkheads into compartments. Said hull compartments house the device for recovery of the hull serviceability composed of one, preferably, two-three layers of sheet strap made of resilient material. One edge of said layers is locked at structural elements of hull inner space to allow displacement of unfastened parts of said layers along normal to bearing hull surface and, at least, in one, preferably, two directions along hull structural skin surface.
EFFECT: simplified process, faster recovery.
