FIELD: test equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device includes a trunk, a powder charge, a target; the shell is composite and consists of a hollow body; inner cylindrical cavity of the body is stepped; at that, the cavity of smaller diameter faces the body bottom, and the cavity of larger diameter is in series provided with a washer with a hole, a bar from soft plastic material and an operating bar from solid material. The bar from more solid material projects beyond the body edge and has an impact platform. The diameter of the washer hole is smaller than diameters of the cavities adjacent to it. In the housing wall from the cavity of smaller diameter there is an air outlet hole. The required duration and amplitude of action of the shell at interaction with the target is controlled due to changing the diameter of the washer hole, material and length of both shell bars.

EFFECT: possible simultaneous variation of duration and amplitude of pulse of action on the target, and variation of one of the pulse parameters at maintaining the other one.
