FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method for provision of a user interface, which displays messages as a part of a dialogue, includes the following: reception of a new message, determination of a dialogue associated with the received message, where messages form a dialogue corresponding to previously set connection with one other message within the dialogue. Further, in accordance with the method, a dialogue break is determined within the dialogue, and also a dialogue is presented, using the following set: an additional distance between parts of the message around the dialogue breaks, an extract from a parent message above a part of a message following the dialogue break, and a graphical element.
EFFECT: increased convenience of using electronic messages of different types, efficient display of links between messages.
