FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device of power conversion comprises a power converter, which converts DC voltage into AC voltage and applies AC voltage to a rotary AC machine, and a control module, which controls the power converter on the basis of an external control command. The power conversion device comprises the following components: the first module of calculation, which calculates and produces from the value of detection of d-axis current and the value of q-axis current detection, detected by means of a rotary AC machine, and values of current control commands on the basis of a control command, the value of the first voltage control command into the power converter, magnetic flows of the rotary AC machine and angular frequency; and the second module of calculation, which sets, as the initial value, at least one of the following: magnetic flows and angular frequency, input from the first module of calculation, and calculates and produces the value of the second voltage control command into the power converter and angular frequency.
EFFECT: reduced impact torque during repeated start of a rotary electric AC machine without use of a rotation detector.
