FIELD: personal use articles.
SUBSTANCE: described in this application are bathing suits. The bathing suit has: a main layer (4) made of a stretchable elastic textile material and having a torso part (6) that covers at least part of the torso of the user wearing the suit, and multiple panels (10, 12, 14) laminated onto the main layer (4) top surface, the top surface of each panel forming the suit top surface while the main layer (4) external surface has areas free of panels; the panels (10, 12, 14) are made of a material the external surface whereof has hydraulic resistance in water that is less than that of the underlying main layer (4); the panels (10, 12, 14) cover 10% or more of the suit torso part (6), a pair of spaced panels (12, 14) covering the breast; the panels (30, 32) pass along the quadriceps muscles ground on the thigh front part while the panels (34, 36) pass along the biceps muscles ground on the thigh rear part. Additionally described in the application is a version of the bathing suit having a main layer (4) made of a stretchable elastic textile material and having a pair of leg parts (8) that cover at least part of the legs of the user wearing the suit, and multiple panels (30, 32, 34), the top surface of each panel forming the suit top surface while the main layer (4) external surface has areas free of panels; the panels (30, 32, 34) are made of a material the external surface whereof has hydraulic resistance in water that is less than that of the underlying main layer (4); the panels (30, 32, 34) covering at least 50% of each leg part (8); the panels (30, 32) pass along the quadriceps muscles ground on the thigh front part while the panels (34, 36) pass along the biceps muscles ground on the thigh rear part.
EFFECT: ensuring improved operational capabilities for swimmer sportsmen by way of reducing surface hydraulic resistance, shape-conditioned hydraulic resistance and/or increasing stability in water.
