FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater research in oceanology and weather forecasting. Robot-probe comprises body with strong cylindrical chamber. Said chamber comprises gas pressure generator with controlled discharge valve and piston. Piston is displaced by pressure and thrusts, on one side, against return spring and, on opposite side, gun powder gas pressure generator is mounted and composed of circular drum with powder cartridges and ignition initiator mechanism. Return spring is arranged between piston and face wall in aforesaid cylindrical chamber. Opening for communication with sea water. Ignition is initiated by the command from diving-emersion cycles control microcontroller. Spring pin locks the piston in top center. Method of controlling floatability of submarine apparatus consists in varying its displacement by gas pressure acting on variable geometry of displacement volume. Floatability is increased on increasing displacement volume by pressure of power gas by combusting powder charge in said volume. Floatability is decreased on decreasing said volume by releasing powder gas therefrom.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of research.
