METHOD OF VERTICAL MOVING UNDERWATER VEHICLE BY MEANS OF SOLAR ENERGY USING CONTROL BUOYANCY THEREOF Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B63B22/00 B63G8/24

Abstract RU 2664613 C1

FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydrological, hydrophysical and oceanographic studies, can be used in the development of oceanological and oceanographic underwater vehicles, as well as search and rescue techniques under water. Method of vertical movement of an underwater vehicle due to solar energy is proposed, using the control of its buoyancy by influencing the controlled geometry of the construction of its displacement volume by operating the pressure of an elastic vapor gas of low boiling liquid, placed between the movable parts of the displacement structure of the underwater vehicle, allowing to activate the process of evaporation of the working fluid by increasing its temperature due to active heat transfer from the electric heater, using the energy of solar cells. This makes it possible to increase the rate of evaporation of the working fluid and increase the pressure of the vapor gas, which is used to control the change in the volume of the displacement structure. Change in the controlled volume is obtained through the sliding displacement structure and fixing its extreme positions: maximum and minimum volume, which is performed by returning the energy of elastic deformation of the technological working fluid, stored in the process of “compression” of the design of the underwater vehicle at the upper point of the trajectory.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improved operational characteristics of the underwater vehicle.
