SUBSTANCE: invention relates to berth intended for assembling aircraft engine air intake. Proposed berth comprises bearing bed 1 to support working plates 4 whereat supports 6 are mounted to accommodate air intake nose. Inner and outer closed shells are positioned at berth by appropriate retainers made up of hinged plates 10, 11. Every said plate is hinged vertically at its post 8, 9 and has its lower end fitted in attachment mounted at working plate. One of lateral edges of every hinged plate has contour following theoretical aerodynamic contour of appropriate shell.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of assembly, simplified design.
