FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, specifically to the method of coal dust blowing into a blast furnace. The method includes preparation of a tuyere pipe (14) for blowing o hot air for blowing from a circular pipeline (12) into the blast furnace hearth via a tuyere (15) installed in the hole in a wall (16) and preparation of a nozzle (18) for coal dust blowing into the tuyere (15). The nozzle (18) comprises an inner pipe (20) for transportation of coal dust and an outer pipe (22) arranged coaxially around the inner pipe for hot gas transportation. The inner pipe (20) forms a separation wall for separation of coal dust from hot gas. The end (24) of the nozzle (18) is installed on the tuyere. At the end (24) of the nozzle (18) a mixture of coal dust and hot has is formed, which burns in the tuyere (15). Presence or absence of flame burning at the nozzle end (24) is monitored, and if absence of flame burning at the end (24) of the nozzle (18) is detected, flame is repeatedly ignited by means of temporary reduction of hot gas flow via the nozzle (18).
EFFECT: using the invention provides for improvement of burning efficiency.
