FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: hot blowing, process oxygen, coal-dust fuel, and component changing temperature-blowing conditions (water steam, nitrogen, and gaseous fuels) are blown in through lances into chimney. More particularly, coal-dust fuel and oxygen are fed through lower half of nozzle part of lance at an angle 15-40 deg. downward from the axis of lance, and above-mentioned components are introduced into the canal of lance through its upper halve. In this case, ratio of kinetic energies of oxygen-coal jet and compensating components is (0.5-1.0):1 and ratio of volume intakes of process oxygen and compensating components (natural, coke, blast-furnace gas, steam, nitrogen) equals (0.6- 1.0):(0.2-0.4):(0.3-0.5): (0.4-0.6): (0.1-0.3): (0.2-0.4), respectively, per 1 kg of coal-dust fuel. EFFECT: increased coal-dust fuel utilization efficiency.
