FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: pumping unit includes a source of hydraulic energy of working fluid and two rotary distributors: distributor of pumped medium and distributor of working fluid. Rotors of both distributors are put on one shaft and attached to opposite sides of the pumping unit. Rotors of both distributors and the pumping unit are movable along the shaft axis, and the pumping unit includes hydraulically driven and delivery chambers separated from each other with an elastic element. Each feed opening of the chambers is connected to the corresponding opening of the distributor's rotor. Stators of the distributors are connected to inlet and delivery headers of pumped medium and to the drain and delivery lines of working fluid. At least on one of the rotors at each opening there installed is a power hydraulic element having the connection to that opening and interacting in axial direction with the rotor of the distributor and the pumping unit. In the unit, the working fluid (oil) pressure energy is converted to pumped medium pressure energy.
EFFECT: trend is future-oriented since oil pumps have longer service life and are more compact than plunger pumps and cheaper by several times.
