FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: cryostat includes cylindrical glass Dewar vessels for liquid nitrogen and liquid helium. Dewar vessel for liquid helium is arranged in Dewar vessel for liquid nitrogen. In upper part of Dewar vessel for liquid helium there is a glass connection pipe soldered to external wall above an upper edge of Dewar vessel for liquid nitrogen. Cryostat also includes a cap that is equipped with a nozzle for connection of a cryogenic insert, a nozzle for connection of an overflow device for liquid helium and a return nozzle of gaseous helium, an O-ring, a flange and a shock-absorbing gasket. In the cap there are two grooves, and in the flange there is one groove. O-ring is made from elastic gas-tight material, located between the cap and the flange and partially enters the first groove of the cap and the groove of the flange, and encloses the external wall of Dewar vessel for liquid helium above the nozzle; at that, the fitting is made with tension. The shock-absorbing gasket is located between upper end face of Dewar vessel for liquid helium and the cap in the second groove of the latter. Leak-proof connection of Dewar vessel for liquid helium with the cap is provided by tightening the cap and the flange between each other.
EFFECT: economy of cryogenic resources and improvement of operating characteristics of cryostat.
