FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: automatic small arms with balanced automatics comprise a barrel box with telescopically installed bolt carrier and beam joined to each other with rack-and-pinion gearing with the help of a carriage with sprockets, return mechanism parts: a bracket with elements of fixation on the barrel box and a return spring installed between the bolt carrier and the bracket. The carriage has an extended part in the form of a rod, onto which the return spring is put on. At the end of the rod there is a T-shaped ledge, which enters into the responsive T-shaped slot made in the bracket. Non-dismountability of connection between the carriage and the bracket is ensured with the return spring, one of the ends of which is installed into the groove on the bracket at the right angle to the profile of the slot, preventing exit of the rod from the bracket.

EFFECT: improvement of automatic small arms, simplified procedure and reduced labour intensiveness of weapon disassembly and assembly.
