FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and involves a track unit, a computer unit and a stimulation unit. The track unit measures an interocclusal distance and informs thereon to the computer unit. After receiving the information from the track unit, the computer block archives and processes the information to determine whether the detected event is a bruxism event. If it is confirmed that the detected event is the bruxism event, the computer unit selects the appropriate stimulation and sends a request to the stimulation unit which applies the selected stimulation.
EFFECT: apparatus allows treating daytime and night-time bruxism, and the components located in the oral cavity can be removed therefrom when the bruxism events is not expected, ie during the day for a patient who suffers only night-time bruxism.
