FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed method comprises separating moulding sand into used sand fraction and oversize, extracting nonferrous metals from oversize, controlling nonferrous metals extraction and feeding moulding sand to recovery. Working parameters of control over nonferrous metals extraction include conveyor belt speed, baffle position and arrangement of separator electromagnet poles.
EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency.
