FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grading of solid polydisperse to boundary grain size and can be used in mining and other industries. Proposed complex, a cascade, consists of three consecutive and intercommunicated modules. First module comprises two ball turbulators to break and remove contaminating films from particle surface that represent welded metal balls arranged at slurry pipeline turns ahead of attrition and grading units that represent two hydro cyclones-classifiers with slurry inlet branch pipes, top branch pipes to withdraw fine fraction and bottom slurry outlets arranged at hydro cyclone taper part and communicated with vortex chambers. Second and third modules comprises two hydraulic classifiers consisting of receiving-separating chambers and classifying chambers that have hydraulic mix inlet branch pipes, top outlets for minor fraction and coarse fraction outlet branch pipes communicated with vortex chambers. First hydraulic classifiers are communicated with the first module fine-fraction hydro cyclone top outlet branch pipes, while second classifiers have their top outlets communicated with top outlets of additional hydraulic classifier. Sequentially mounted are sand pulp loading unit from sandwash assembly into vibratory screen for preliminary grading of sand to fractions +10 mm and -10 mm, fire-drying unit to dry fraction -10 mm, cooler to cool down dry sand to 40-60°C, vibratory screens for final classification of cooled sand. Two of the latter are arranged at one height to allow regulating particles soaring speed in under-sieve area to separate the particles in said area by density into coarse and fine fractions, loose material storage tanks, improper product collector and aspiration system.
EFFECT: higher quality and homogeneity.
