FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulse processing, particularly, to defining power efficiency at spark surface doping unit. Proposed method comprises recording all electric pulses during basic time interval to define quantity NΣ total power EΣ of all recorded pulses. Recorded pulses are rated to operating pulses with pulse power making not lower than 20% of maximum recorded power and low-power pulses not exceeding 20% of maximum recorded pulse power. Quantity Np and total power Ep of working pulses are defined. Thereafter, factor of efficiency of working pulse generation of the plant SN=Np/NΣ and power factor of using said factor of efficiency SE=Ep/EΣ of surface doping are defined to estimate efficiency of spark doping plant.
EFFECT: perfected determination process.
