FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to tools for burnishing articles composed of surfaces of revolution using residues of coolant-lubricant left on article surface after previous machining. Proposed device comprises burnishing tools composed of indenters, tool holders and holder drive. Scrapers are secured at burnishing tools and provided with straight edges to be arranged along article surface generatrix to get in contact with article by, at least, one edges.

EFFECT: surface cleaning directly in burnishing, increased tool strength and surface quality.
