FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: gas flow measurement method, in which elementary measurement volume of gas is identified in a flow, sent through a measurement circuit of a jet generator, frequency of elementary volume pressure oscillations is measured in receiving channels of any one jet element, and the volume flow of gas determines frequency of pressure oscillations. Analogue jet elements are selected for measurement. Separators are installed between receiving channels opposite to the supply jet. The elementary gas flow is sent to the separator. It is divided into unequal parts with vortex motion of its small part near the separator when approaching and interacting with the separator. The larger part of the volume is additionally rotated under influence of vortex motion. The angle of measurement volume motion trajectory deviation to the required receiving channel and slope of the pressure signal is increased. It is sent to the control channel of the subsequent jet element and further along the closed circuit of elementary volume transfer.

EFFECT: expanded range of flow measurement with a jet generator, increased sensitivity to occurrence of oscillations with additional aerodynamic methods.
