FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: hydrostatic downhole densitometer comprises a body with two differential pressure sensors, which separate the inner cavity of the body into three chambers, two of which arranged at the body ends serve to receive pressure of environment, and a chamber arranged between differential pressure sensors is filled with a liquid with available physical properties. The chamber between differential pressure sensors is hydraulically connected with the environment via a hole in the side wall of the body with the help of a medium separator located inside the body with a movable partition.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements and reduced diameter of a densitometer.
