FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method is based on detection of electric energy quality indices in non-stationary modes at the design stage via simulation modelling, at the same time transition characteristics are calculated at the outlet and inlet of the power supply system with account of active losses and non-linearities of devices included into the power supply system, connections and links of the electric network, levels of overvoltage and depression are identified, as well as intervals of their action, parameters of asymmetry, non-sinusoidality of voltage and current, their compliance with permissible values is verified, the time intervals are set for actuation of protective devices in case of overloads.
EFFECT: higher reliability and noise immunity of power supply systems.
