FIELD: medicine, sport.
SUBSTANCE: offered invention relates to apparatuses and equipment for physical exercise, namely to sports kettlebells. A universal kettlebell has a spherical weight-balanced hollow body (1) with a cut (2) at the bottom, a small arc (3) at the top, and loads (4) with threaded fixation within the cavity of the body (1). The cavity of the body (1) is cylindrical, horizontal and through with its axis being parallel to a horizontal portion of the small arc (3), the cylindrical cavity is above the cut (2) of the kettlebell and below the attachments of the small arc (3) and has an internal thread. The loads (4) are cylindrical with an external thread mating with the internal thread of the cylindrical cavity; the loads (4) have recesses (5) from end faces. Circular edges of the universal kettlebell (1) from two sides of the through horizontal cylindrical cavity have a rounded facet (6); the cylindrical loads (4) with the external thread may be hollow and filled with a heavy metal (7) through filling holes (8). The end recesses (5) of the loads (4) may be formed for an adjusting end wrench.
EFFECT: performing a sports apparatus with stepwise variable weight for doing exercises with gradual increase of the load, while maintaining the outer surface of a standard competitive kettlebell and its balanced state (by the centre of mass), and improved load fixation inside the cavity.
