FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning the gas of dust and may be used in heat engineering, metallurgy, production of construction materials etc. Electrostatic precipitator comprises case accommodating one or several fields of electrostatic precipitator, filtration elements, regeneration system and clean gas chamber. Case end part in gas flow direction is closed by tubular plate with filtration elements with their ends directed toward the flow. Safety valve with program controller are fitted above clean gas chamber. Clean gas chamber is combined with confuser. Filtration elements are composed of flat bags with their contracted edges directed upward made of folded filtration material. Tubular plate is installed vertically, its height being either smaller than or equal to that electrostatic precipitator fields.

EFFECT: higher efficiency in abrasive dust separation, higher reliability, longer life.
