FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to production of washers from multilayer materials. First, material is cut to part contour and, then, male die is driven therein by appropriate pressure. Note here that, before final cutting, wedge-like annular ledges made at clamp and female die penetrate in peripheral resilient elastic layers of the material. Note also that adequate selection of relationships between sizes of said wedge-like ledges of clamp and female die prevents destruction of outer layers.
