FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed machine comprises several pairs of rotary internally-cooled drums and vessel 1 for melted materials, rolling mill for rolling band layers and band reeler 8. Quantity of drums is selected subject to that of band layers. Drums of extreme pairs feature different diameters to form band outer layers with temperature gradient. Diameters of drums 3 forming band outer layers exceed those of band inner layer forming drums 2. This is why surfaces of layer in contact with drums 3 feature lower temperature than those in contact with drum 2. Pairs of drums 4 arranged between extreme pairs consists of equal-diameter drums. Layers formed at drums 2, 3 and 4 are fed via guides 5 filled with protective gas 5 into two-roll mill 6 for bonding into band.
EFFECT: higher quality.
