FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal working, particularly, to tools for cutting inner straight thread. Proposed tap comprises rod with guide part, working part with cutting and gaging sections, stem, chip flutes and through hole. Said through hole is aligned with center holes. Said rod has cylindrical centering step and flange for sleeve to thrust there against. Cylindrical centering step is located ahead the working part, its diameter being equal to or smaller than the rod core diameter. Rod core is formed by chit flutes. Aforesaid sleeve makes said guide part fitted onto rod cylindrical step. Said sleeve has grooves made at inner diameter and aligned with aforesaid chip flutes.

EFFECT: higher quality of thread.
