FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: use a tool comprising an extrusive part with wedge-type indentors connected to the threader with possibility of relative rotation, which calibrating part is adjoined to the fluteless section. In this case, pressure is applied to the extrusive part with the threader and when it is axially displaced the slits are forced out by the indentors, the resulting burr is cut with the cutting part of the threader. After penetration into the shell of fluteless section the axial action on the threader is eliminated, and cutting threads is performed by self-tightening it into the shell along the threaded connection formed between the threaded part and the shell during the threading process. Compressed air is supplied to the chip grooves in front of the fluteless section of the threader, and the hole of the shell is periodically overlapped from the side of extrusive part. The extrusive part is made in the form of a sleeve, for example, of a magnetic material. The number of threads turns of the fluteless section is determined by the formula given.

EFFECT: expansion of technological possibilities when cutting large threads in deep holes of shells from plastic materials, increase of accuracy of the cutting threads, processing capacity, tool life and eliminate power costs for cutting.
