FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tube weld and method of welding tubes together. Said assembly is formed by two tubes 1 and metal sleeve 2. Cylindrical groove 3 is made at the center of outer surface of sleeve 2 to apply heat-insulation layer 4 on groove surface. Locating stops 5 with supports are arranged on layer 4 radially and regularly in circle. Layer 6 of another heat-insulation material is applied on supports of stops 5 and layer 4 to lock said stops 5. Paste layer 8 is applied on inner surface of tubes 1 prior to fitting sleeve 2. For said paste to completely fill the clearance 9 between sleeve 2 and tube 1, annular grooves 10 are made on outer surface of sleeve end zones 7 in symmetry about cylindrical groove 3. Sleeve 2 is fitted in the first tube 1 to contact with locating stops 5 to fit the second tube 1 therein. Note here that sleeve 2 gets inside tube joint. Locating stops 5 and tube ends are welded together.
