FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water transport, namely to method for controlling ship combined power plant. The method consists in the use of controllable-pitch propeller. Initial acceleration and movement of ship is performed by driving propeller shaft from shaft generator. Ship propeller shaft is connected with shaft generator via releasing clutch of shaft generator. With voltage lowering on output buses of accumulator battery to certain mean value, the main engine is started. From the moment of the main engine connection to screw-propeller the regulation of propeller thrust is performed by changing its pitch. The main engine rotation speed is maintained constant. When resistance moment of screw-propeller becomes less than nominal moment of the main engine the shaft generator is shifted to generator mode. Required amount of electric energy is taken from the shaft generator to create on it additional braking moment. Determination of main engine loading degree is performed by use of readings from sensors of its exhaust gas temperature. When it is necessary to obtain higher ship speed the shaft generator is shifted in motor operation mode. When voltage of accumulator battery or its capacity lowers to minimum limit its discharge is terminated and its recharge begins. Screw blades angle is limited to the value corresponding to power on screw-propeller.
EFFECT: better ecological properties of ship combined power plant.
