FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water transport, namely to power combined power plants of planing sea and river vessels. To accelerate the planing vessel, propeller is rotated by means of the main engine with a disconnection clutch in front of the summing reducing screw of the propeller shaft, as well as by means of accelerating propulsive motor, kinematically connected through adder reduction gearbox with propeller screw. Main engine rpm is increased by increasing fuel feed to its cylinders and, at the same time, accelerating propulsive motor fed from auxiliary power source in the form of diesel-generator via semiconductor frequency converter, thus accelerating ship. Accelerating propulsion motor is used in the form of reversible type synchronous machine. Semiconductor frequency converter is used in the form of a reversible semiconductor converter, and the auxiliary power source is used in the form of a storage battery with high energy density. After overcoming "hump" of resistance and ship hull coming out of water, i.e. transition to planing mode or hydrofoil driving mode, accelerating propulsion motor is disconnected from auxiliary power source and disconnected from adder reduction gear by means of disconnecting clutch of accelerating propulsive motor.
EFFECT: improved operational qualities of the vessel, as well as reduction of harmful emissions into atmosphere.
