FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of heat-insulation foamed glass. The crude mixture for producing foamed glass contains the following components, wt %: amorphous microsilica - 25-61.9; marshalite - 0.1-37; calcined soda - 20; dolomite - 17; blowing agent - 1. The amorphous microsilica has particle size smaller than 1 mcm and contains at least 85% silicon oxide.
EFFECT: high strength of foamed glass, wider raw material base and low power consumption of the process.
