FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition for preparing quenched cullet for producing foamed glass-ceramic materials for heat insulation purposes. The mixture for preparing quenched cullet for producing foamed glass-ceramic materials contains the following components in wt %: silica-containing rocks 25-50; calcined soda 25; ash-slag wastes 25-50. The ash-slag wastes contain the following in wt %: SiO2 - not less than 55, Al2O3 - not more than 20, CaO with specific surface of wastes not less than 3000 cm2/g - not more than 15. The silica-containing materials used is rocks with SiO2 content of not less than 83 wt % and particle size of not less than 0.1 mm.
EFFECT: wider raw material base for producing foamed glass-ceramic materials and low cost.
