SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, particularly, to composition of irons used in production of the parts of furnaces and heat production assemblies In compliance with one version, cast iron contains the following components in wt %: carbon - 3.6-4.0, silicon - 2.8-3.2, yttrium - 0.1-0.15, boron - 0.1-0.15, nickel - 1.2-1.7, iron making the rest. In compliance with another version, cast iron contains the following components in wt %: carbon - 3.6-4.0, silicon - 2.8-3.2, yttrium - 0.1-0.15, boron - 0.1-0.15, nickel - 1.2-1.7, iron making the rest.
EFFECT: higher hear resistance.
