FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to composition of grey cast iron. It can be used for manufacturing of parts of fire boxes, recuperator pipes, fire bars, cooling frames, tooth and rake arms of sulfur furnaces. Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 2.8-3.2; silicon 0.2-0.6; manganese 0.6-0.9; aluminium 2.8-3.2; stibium 0.07-0.11; copper 1.2-1.6; calcium 0.002-0.004; cadmium 0.002-0.004; neodymium 0.1-0.16; boron 0.1-0.16; nickel 1.3-1.7; iron - the rest. Cast iron allows high heat stability.
EFFECT: increasing of cast iron heat stability.
