FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method involves microarc oxidation of the electrodeposited layer of iron-aluminium coating on a steel component part during 60-90 min, electric current density being 20-40 A/dm2, with supply of pressurised oxygen onto the component part surface under pressure via a sprayer contacting with the cathode at 5-15°C, oxygen flow rate being 0.1-1.0 m3/min per 1 sqm; the electrolyte composition is as follows, kg/m3: potassium hydrate - 6-8, boracic acid - 40-50; a reciprocal and rotary movement are imparted to the component part.
EFFECT: increased micro-hardness and wear resistance of steel component parts, oxidated layer thickness increase up to 300-500 mcm, wear-resistant coating production method simplification.
