FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: flow meter includes a housing, a determinant central channel, the first group of pairs of converters, which is installed on the housing, the first memory device equipped with a software unit, the first processor electrically connected to the first group of pairs of converters and the first memory device and having the possibility of determining the first value of fluid medium flow through a central channel by means of signals obtained by the first group of pairs of converters. Flow meter also includes the second group of pairs of converters mechanically connected to the flow meter housing, the second memory device equipped with a software unit, the second processor electrically connected to the second group of pairs of converters and the second memory device and having the possibility of determining the second value of fluid medium flow through central channel via signals received by the second group of pairs of converters. The second processor and the second group of pairs of converters have the possibility of continuing the operation and determining the second value of fluid medium flow through central channel at failure of the first processor or any of pairs of converters of the first group.

EFFECT: improving fluid medium flow rate measurement accuracy.
