SUBSTANCE: proposed facilities that provide for the generation of a first electric signal which is acoustic energy propagating between the transmitters of the first pair of the flowmeter transmitters, wherein a second electric signal being generated essentially simultaneously with a first electric signal generation; by calculating the first electric signal parameter ratio to the second electric signal parameter; using such ratio to establish if the first pair of the flowmeter transmitters operation is characteristic for imminent transmitter failure detection of at least one transmitter of the first pair of the flowmeter transmitters.
EFFECT: enhanced the precision of imminent transmitter failure detection.
