FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used as a simple and cost-efficient LV DC power supply connected to AC mains and contains half-wave rectifiers and a LF filter capacitor, two serially connected half-wave circuits consisting of serially connected diodes (first and second) and storage capacitors (first and second) alternatively charged from AC mains from heteropolar AC voltage half-periods; the serially connected storage capacitors are linked to the LF filter capacitor via a HF inductance coil and a power thyristor the control electrode whereof is linked, via an isolation transformer, to the output of the comparator the control pulse whereof is generated at the moment of maximum voltage in the first and second storage capacitors, serially connected. An active load is connected in parallel to the LF filter capacitor.
EFFECT: design simplification and considerable reduction of the active component of energy consumed from the AC power supply as compared to DC energy released on the active load; the device has complex load for DC mains in case of purely active load at the consumer's.
