FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical equipment and electrical measurements, and can be used to assess the newly developed electricity meters suitability against the uncontrolled electricity takeoff for the purpose of its theft from the power grids. Disclosed is a half-wave circuit for testing electric meters for uncontrolled power take-off, comprising a bridge circuit of two circuits connected in parallel to the network of series-connected storage capacitor and charge thyristor and discharge thyristor in the diagonal of the bridge circuit, wherein the storage capacitors are connected directly to the conductors of the network – phase and zero, as well as a control unit for switching on the charging and discharging thyristors.
EFFECT: use of the proposed device will allow developers of electric meters of new generation to avoid uncontrolled consumption of electric energy and large economic damage for power supply organizations of the country.
